Task nº3

The teacher gave me the option of changing a bit this task.....a piece of art for a song.
Björk was on 10 november at the stadium San Carlos of Apoquindo (away from the civilization), after her first presentation almost ten years ago.
She's one of my favourite artist, she is from Island....and that was my opportunity to listen her in live.
I was there!!!!! Singing her songs, fighting with people who covered my view towards her......
It was wonderful!!!! She is so beautiful, and listening her in live, it was like I listen her albums.....there's no difference.
When I saw her (well, a point for the distance) I started to shout and I felt so happy =D At that time I would like to be in the vip area =(......
Well, the second song of that night was "Unravel"...it´s not a song of the most popular ones, but its simplicity is its beauty http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fqetb1wnuqg (in Chile) or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCBotbZTw-U&NR=1 (its video).
When I listened it, I almost cried, because I couldn't believe that she was going to sing one of my favourite songs....
Well, the only thing I hope is that when I get enough money to pay a vip entrance, she continues on tours, even in Europe I'll go to see her and repeat that magical experiencie ;-).........

Ecstasy impairs memory!!!...so be careful ;-)

Task nº 2

A new research indicates that ecstasy can cause lasting damage to the human brain, even if the drug is only taken for a short time and in low doses. The memory of ecstasy users who were asked to remember lists of words was impaired, the study found.

In the experiment the procedure was:

  • First test non-drug users (188 volunteers, who said they would probably tried ecstasy). The psychological exercises included tests of attention and memory.

  • Then test drug-users (58 of the 188 volunteers). On average, the subjects had taken around three ecstasy pills in total.

Research on animals has shown that ecstasy can cause long-lasting damage to neurons. This ones are involved in processing serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in controlling learning, memory, mood and other functions. In several studies a brain region called the hippocampus, which is known to be involved in memory, it has been has particularly affected.

In spite of rhe low doses, the researchers found a statistically significant small drop in the ability of the volunteers to remember words. The test was reciting a list of 15 words and remembering this ones 20 minutes later.

The data really demonstrated that, even in low doses, ecstasy is associated with drop verbal memory function, due induced neurotoxicity, causing a depletion of serotonina.

Task nº 1

Hi everyone!!!

One of my favourites websites in my (few) afternoons of leisure is http://www.minijuegos.com/.

How did I find this site??....well, I like to see what my brother does in the computer, and he is a player boy.....in the good sense of the word.....of course. So, one day he was playing a game that call my attention, and I ask him for the name of the page.

I visit this page almost every day....some games could be very addictive, at least for me. I can spend hours playing Diamond Mine....trying to get a better score. Besides, in this site there`s always appearing new games, and I have to play them!

And finally, I like this page because their games are easy to download, short and with many categories. Ah!...and the most important......you have a lot of fun with them!!
